A conference built by students, for students.

The annual Purdue SIAM Student Conference brings together undergraduate and graduate students interested in applied mathematics, computational science, and data science. It offers a friendly, low-pressure venue to present research, learn from peers, and connect with faculty across departments.

The program features short student talks, an invited keynote, and generous breaks for conversation.

Format

What the day looks like.

Student Talks
15–20 minute presentations followed by a short Q&A, grouped into themed sessions across the day.
Invited Keynote
A talk from a distinguished researcher in applied mathematics or computational science.
Networking
Coffee breaks, shared lunch, and social time designed to spark conversation across departments.
