About the Conference

The annual SIAM Student Conference brings together undergraduate and graduate students interested in applied mathematics, computational science, and data science. This conference provides a platform for students to present their research, learn from peers, and network with faculty and industry professionals.

Conference Format

Oral Presentations

Students will have the opportunity to present their research in 15-20 minute talks, followed by a Q&A session.

Keynote Speakers

Invited talks from distinguished researchers and industry professionals in applied mathematics and computational science.

Networking Events

Coffee breaks, lunch sessions, and social hours designed to facilitate networking among students and faculty.

Call for Abstracts

We invite submissions for oral presentations in all areas of applied mathematics, including but not limited to:

Numerical analysis and scientific computing
Mathematical modeling and simulation
Data science and machine learning
Optimization and control theory
Computational biology and bioinformatics
Applied differential equations
Computational fluid dynamics
